Let's be Royal

A Royal Challenge has been decreed for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Every Paper Princess is in need of a crown, so I created mine with paper flowers.
I normally don't make flowers. I leave that to Emma and Anna-Karin. I love their luscious flowers! But when I got the Maggie Holmes Confetti die, I discovered that I like making flowers too. Funky Flowers!

Creating an entire garden was easy because the die set has a lot of fun pieces to mix and match. I added some pen scribbles to the blooms for added artistic flair. And I'd like to thank my crafty friend, Kimberly for giving me the courage to leave my own marks. :) Blog friends are the BEST!

The wand in the first photo? Every Queen must have a scepter! This wand was from a previous challenge that I did for Simon Says Stamp. You can see more of them at Making Magic Happen.

Rule the Royal Challenge! Link your Royal project to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog and your project could win a $50 gift voucher to Simon Says Stamp. We draw a new winner each week. Your project could also be chosen to be featured in our weekly designer spotlight.

THANK YOU! A Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank You! We don't say it enough. This week, The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is to say "Thank You" with your project. Saying "Thank You" should never be difficult, so I kept my project simple.
I created Thank-You's with the help of my Sizzix. These cards are all about the texture. I cut several leaves and layered them for dimension. The sentiment was cut and I used the negative space for the cards. I'll save the letters and use them for another project later.

X,Y,Z...Zip Codes! A Simon Says Stamp Challenge

Happy Monday! We have a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge today. We're challenging you to use the letters X,Y, or Z. I was inspired by the letter Z and created postcards with "Zip Codes".
No envelope is necessary for these stamped Postcards. Like the appointment reminders from the Doctor's Office, there's plenty of room to write the recipients name on the other side. I love the postal stamps from the Tim Holtz Correspondence set. Another favorite set is the Apothecary Halloween Set. The labels are awesome and I love the script stamp. I use this set all year long!

I love using real vintage photos whenever possible and I love sharing them too. I created a FREE PDF of the Vintage Photos for you. Download & Enjoy!

Sending Happy Mail Pocket Pal Letters

Hello Friends!
Lately I've been forgetful. Thankfully, it's nothing serious. I forget to take my vitamins, I forget to take the clothes out of the dryer. I also forget to blog about my projects. This is a project that I did a month or so ago.
Have you heard of Pocket Pal Letters? It's like a Project Life spread, except it's done in a smaller scale. The pockets are ATC size, or baseball card size, and include a letter and fun little goodies. When the sheet is folded, it fits in a normal business size envelope so that it can be mailed to pen pals or friends.
This is my first one, but I think that it's something that I'd like to pursue further....and I think I'll remember that. :)

A Simon Exclusive Challenge

Happy Monday! This week, the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is to use one of Simon's exclusive products. I used the Kite Shaker Die to create some fun mixed media tags.
Except...I didn't want to make a kite. I've been all about shapes recently, so I wanted to use the lines and angles as mixed media elements.
